My name is Ariadne and I have been fishing Lake Erie and the surrounding waters my entire life. I am the only independent, local female Steelhead Alley fly fishing guide. Come fish with a girl guide! As a female, I tend to emphasize fun and learning–which often puts fish in the net.

There a numerous Steelhead Alley fishing guides. However, most of them have non-local area codes; my phone number has always started with the area code 814. Do you want someone guiding you on waters they can easily fish in their free time? I know where to fish, where to eat, and where to stop for a good beer because I live in Erie. I will fish with whomever hires me, but I do best with individuals that have respect for themselves and the environment. I am an avid outdoorswoman–I hunt whitetails in the fall, I ski in the winter both on and off-piste, I sit for gobblers in the spring, and I play golf all summer long.

My page on techniques contains information to get you started fishing. No amount of reading or YouTube videos will ever account for time on the water. I highly recommend getting out on the water and learning as you go.
